Earlier this week, I released ‘At the Mast’, the second title in my The Patriot Sailor series. After only a few days on the market, it has surpassed all of my expectations. It topped the new release chart in U.S Historical Fiction on Amazon and earned a nifty orange bestseller banner. That was exciting, but, it doesn’t stop there. It has continued to sell copies at a steady rate, and is getting thousands of pages read on Kindle Unlimited every day. I say thousands, it is getting tens of thousands of pages. Thirty thousand pages read on release day, and that number has only grown. I am humbled and extremely grateful for the reception of my newest work, and the added readers it is drawing to the first book in the series ‘A Bloody Beginning’
In addition to all these impressive (to me) figures, I am seeing reviews and rating come in daily. I read every single one, and I find it absolutely thrilling that readers are being captivated by my work. It encourages me to continue, and continue I shall. I am already hard at work on book three, ‘A Leeward Shore’ which is currently available for pre-order.
If you have recently discovered The Patriot Sailor series, please keep a weather eye out for following titles. I release on a six month turnaround, so a new title is never far over the horizon.
