Land In Sight
I hope September finds you well, mine has brought a heartswell of joy that I struggle to find words to describe. Fall has come to Montana. It is my favorite time of year, with cooler weather and changing trees. I have another reason to be particularly joyful this fall, my family has grown. This past weekend, I watched my daughter marry the person her heart truly loves. It was a gorgeous ceremony in the most beautiful setting I could imagine. Not a dry eye in the place, including mine. My new son in law is a good man, a person I can truly call a friend and he makes my daughter happy, which is all I could ever hope for. It was an amazing weekend, spent with my bride of sixteen years, and many family and friends.
Revenge of the Drowned Maiden is officially out of first draft status and in editing. I am excited for release day and already diligently working on the third title in series. November 5th will be the digital and paperback release. Be on the lookout for the cover reveal for a third title in the ‘Treachery and Triumph’ series!
For any who were following the adventures of Captain Grimes on Kindle Vella. You may, or may not, have noticed it is no longer available on that medium. I apologize for the course change, but, when the winds shift… “The High Times and Adventures of Captain Grimes” is in a file on my desktop marked ‘in progress’. It is proving to be a more complex adventure than I had originally anticipated, worthy of it’s own volume and I felt kindle vella was not the appropriate venue. I have not decided if it will be a paperback or strictly available as a digital read, but it will be out in 2022.
On another exciting note, I am working on hardcover editions to HMS Valor and Revenge of the Drowned Maiden. I have no idea when they will be available, but I imagine it will be soon.

Honestly, connecting with readers has been the most satisfying part of this journey. I love seeing engagement through reviews, facebook shares, instagram likes and tiktoks. I did not anticipate so many people would connect with my characters! Thank you!
I have begun work on another project outside the realm of my current series. It is still in its infancy, so the details I can share are limited but I am excited to share with you what I can at this point. ‘The Afters’ series will be a post apocalyptic survival story. The first title ‘Collapse’ should be ready for release early in 2022 and finds the main character dealing with a series of disasters that lead to him being separated from his family. Somehow, given the current state of the world, post apocalyptic fiction remains a popular sub genre. I have decided to test the waters, as it were, and start a whole new adventure. I do hope you will join me.
