Plotting new courses

Greetings Friends,

August is almost over. I hope you are enjoying the summer days and finding some respite from the heat when you can. It has been a noteworthy year I hope it has found each of you still in good spirits and good health.

September is a big month on my schedule. First, Escape, the second title in my Afters series, is scheduled for release on September 1st. The pre-order has been running since March and I am delighted that there are eager readers ready to follow Tyler Conners as he continues his quest for survival. Next, on September 9th, Resurrecting the Maiden, the third book in the Treachery and Triumph series, will be released in e-book and paperback formats. It has been almost ten months since the release of Revenge of the Drowned Maiden, and nine months since I opened the e-book pre-order. The anticipation of readers to get their hands on this next title has blown me away. I think you will like it. Another title is already in the works for this series, though I have not given it a title yet. There will be more to come on that soon.

After months of wracking my brain and wasting countless hours grappling with technical issues and procrastination, I finally enlisted the help of a professional to revamp my website and a new link service to help redirect traffic from my social accounts. I hope you enjoy the new look and feel as much as I do. There is still more to come, however, and I am excited to announce that there will be a digital storefront on my website where readers can order signed paperback copies of each of my books. There are a few more details to iron out, but keep your eye on the horizon for that.

With two running series, a family and a full-time job, I came to the same conclusion that any sane person would. I need to do more stuff. With full transparency, I have to fight for time to write, but I love what I do and once I get an idea, there is no stopping.

My newest project is a fantasy series set in a fictional world. I set up a loose outline and commissioned an artist to create a map. The series starts with a short novel which will be free to all of my newsletter subscribers for a limited time. I have not scheduled exact release dates yet, but the first title and the short novel will be out in early 2023.

Next month’s newsletter will have a special sneak peek of the map of this new fantasy world. Watch for the email if you are subscribed, and if you are not, sign up! It’s simple, just fill out the form on the link above or on my website.

Until next month. Cheers!

Cal
