Nautical November!

Hello friends and readers!

I hope you are keeping warm and staying well this holiday season. It’s almost time for my favorite holiday of the year, Thanksgiving! This year I am thankful for a great many things, but at the top of my list I am thankful for health and family.

I’ve been as busy as a worker bee these last few weeks, and yes, still managed to keep making progress on novels. I attended a Montana Grizzlies football game in Missoula, Montana and watched my beloved Grizzlies decimate Eastern Washington in the bitter cold. While we were in town to see the game, I took the opportunity to visit Rockin Rudy’s. If you ever make it to Missoula, I highly recommend stopping in and finding yourself a little something.

The holidays are upon us, and Christmas will soon be here. The anticipation in my house is palpable, my three sons are making lists and pouring over catalogs while I get ready for the day the decorations go up. In our house, the day after Thanksgiving is a flurry of lights going up, Christmas tree decoration and nick knacks going onto shelves. We round out the weekend after Thanksgiving by attending the Great Falls Parade of Lights, an event in my hometown culminating in Santa Claus making an appearance to light a massive Christmas tree at the end of central avenue. It’s a big deal in our town, and a family tradition that we attend every year.

Despite the holiday happenings, I have been making progress on several of my current projects. Under The Black Flag, the next book in the Treachery and Triumph series, is currently underway. Part one is taking form and I expect to announce a release date for sometime in 2023. I am also working on a prequel short novel, which will be released first, for free in e-book format, to my newsletter subscribers. The working title for this is A Mutiny of Morals, it is the origin story of both Chibs and of the Drowned Maiden.

I have a lot of work done on my dark fantasy project which so far includes a short novel, which I will release to my newsletter subscribers for free as an e-book, a series of short stories that I will release in a similar fashion before compiling into a book, and a full-length novel which I will publish in the same manner as the books I currently have released. There will be more to come on this project soon, it is one I am very excited about!

Cheers!
